An
improvised audiogeographical journey across the Central-European cityscape.
Der spezifische Klang Bratislavas bildete den Ausgangspunkt für das
Projekt audioturizmus. Ausgehend von ganz persönlichen akustischen
Erlebnissen, erstellten KünstlerInnen Kartographien, die ein alternatives
Netz der Wahrnehmung über die Stadt legen und Bratislava aus einer
völlig neuen Perspektive präsentieren.
Mit freundlicher Unterstützung von Atrakt Art und dem slowakischen
Kulturministerium.

Slávo Krekovic
Born 1977. Studied musicology. After starting to publish 3/4 magazine in
1999, co-founded Atrakt Art Association for Advanced Arts and Culture
in 2000. Organizer and curator of series of sound and multimedia events,
including Next festival of advanced music and Multiplace new media culture
festival. In 2004 co-founded cultural centre A4 - Zero Space. Producer of
recordings of experimental music. In 2004 did EXtempore shows about experimental
and electronic music for Slovak Radio and the RadioART project. Lives in
Bratislava. Oliver
Rehák
Born 1973. Studied musicology. After starting to publish 3/4 magazine
in 1999, co-founded Atrakt Art Association for Advanced Arts and Culture
in 2000. Organizer and curator of series of sound and multimedia events,
including Next festival of advanced music and Multiplace new media culture
festival. Producer of recordings of experimental music. Works as a cultural
journalist in SME daily. Lives in Bratislava.
Marek Piacek
Born 1972 in Bratislava. 1983 1986 personal studies of playing the flute
(of Vladislav Brunner older). 1986 1992 Conservatory in Bratislava (playing
the flute Dagmar Zsapková), at the same time personal studies
of composition (Ladislav Burlas and Ilja Zeljenka). 1990 1991 scholarship
programmes in the Künstlerhaus Boswil Foundation in Switzerland.
1990 1995 Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava (composition Ilja
Zeljenka), at the same time personal studies of electroacoustic music
at Juraj Duris in the Experimental Studio of the Slovak Radio. Since
1991 he has worked with VENI ensemble and TULEN ensemble. 1993 a scholarship
programme at the Nottingham Trent University in Great Britain (K. Jones).
1994 a co-founder of Vapori del Cuore ensemble. 1994 a co-founder of the
Middle-Class Chamber Orchestra Poon sentimentál. 1994 1998 the
ISCM Vice-President Slovak Section. 1995 a member of the programming
board at Evenings of New Music festival. 1996 a doctoral student of composition
at the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava (Vladimír Bokes).
1996 a scholarship programme at the Akademie für Neue Musik (B. Schaeffer,
M. Choloniewski). Lives in Bratislava.
